Morning walk #60: Rota do Alto do Duque

Join us for another refreshing circular walk through the enchanting Monsanto forest! 🌲

This trail will guide us through the lesser-known southwestern area of Monsanto, showcasing beautiful spots with stunning views.

The group size is intentionally kept small to foster a comfortable and familiar atmosphere. If you've reserved a spot but can no longer attend, please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance.

If you happen to be running late, kindly send a personal message to our guides. We'll do our best to wait for you; otherwise, we'll start walking by 08:35 to respect everyone’s time. ⏰

Distance and Duration:
This circular route spans 3.2 km and is expected to take approximately 50-60 minutes to complete.

Meeting / Ending Point:
North end of the parking lot at Externato São José, right in front of the sign Percurso do Alto do Duque (across the road from the gas station).

🚗 Free parking available.
🚌 Several bus lines will drop you directly at the parking lot.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes 👟
• At least 0.5L of water 💧
• Weather-appropriate clothing 🌦️
• Sunscreen/hat 🧢

In respect for the group and nature, please be ready to silence your phone and keep it stowed during the walk. 📵

Important Notes:

• The walk will proceed even in light rain—don’t forget your rain jacket! ☔
• If the trails are compromised due to prolonged rainfall or if there's a forecast of lightning/heavy rain, I will cancel the walk before midnight the night prior.
