Join us for a captivating musical drama dedicated to the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! 🌟✨
This enchanting program features:
- 🎤 Vanda Šípová, a coloratura soprano from the National Theater in Prague, performing beloved arias from operas like The Magic Flute and Figaro, alongside several of the master's song compositions.
- 🎹 Michal Mašek at the piano, bringing life to Mozart's solo compositions.
- 📜 Soulful readings of selected letters Mozart penned to his cherished wife, Constanze, voiced by the talented actress Anna Polívková, making it feel as if Constanze is sharing her thoughts with us.
The performance culminates with the poignant Lacrimosa from Mozart's unfinished Requiem KV 626, accompanied by a heartfelt letter from Constanze on the day of Mozart's passing, December 5, 1791.
