Mr. Funghi (BER)

Mr. Funghi is a DJ, producer, and event curator based in Berlin, known for his eclectic and emotionally charged sets. Originally from Dortmund, he developed his style in Berlin’s experimental club scene, blending wave, acid, alternative disco, and cinematic elements. His sound combines post-punk atmospheres, EBM patterns, hypnotic acid lines, and dramatic touches of Italo, creating a dark, glamorous, melancholic, and playful sonic journey.

In 2023, he founded Acide Technotheka, an event series with a FLINTA focus that has held editions in Berlin, Lisbon, and Barcelona, standing out for its immersive experience and a vision that dissolves genres while prioritizing community, dissidence, and subversion. He has performed in prestigious European clubs and has appeared on radio platforms such as Blank Wave and Sameheads.

His style ranges from dark wave and electroclash to nu-disco, EBM, and techno with acid touches, delivering high-energy sets that move across eras and scenes. Whether in a fog-filled basement, a warehouse, or at sunrise in a courtyard in Lisbon, Mr. Funghi creates experiences where synthesizers cry, basslines bite, and time dissolves on the dancefloor.
