Just after midnight, a snowdrift halts the luxurious Orient Express. Surprisingly full for the season, the train's atmosphere shifts dramatically by morning when one passenger is found dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, with the door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer among them, the remaining passengers turn to detective Hercule Poirot to uncover the murderer before they strike again.
