🌟 Welcome to the Bi-Weekly Thursday Meetup!

Join us every other Thursday evening for an enriching language exchange experience in the heart of Sydney! 🌏 This vibrant Meetup is a fantastic opportunity for both native Chinese speakers and English learners to come together and forge connections.

🤝 Originally designed for Mandarin and English conversation practice, our community has blossomed into a warm, bilingual group. With approximately 20-30 participants at each session, you’ll find a diverse mix of native Chinese speakers and English learners eager to practice their skills.

🗓️ Updates Starting November 6, 2025:

1️⃣ Transitioning from weekly to bi-weekly gatherings.

2️⃣ Each session will feature a different volunteer host to bring fresh perspectives.

3️⃣ Venue changes with each event, always located conveniently near Sydney's CBD, requiring RSVP through Meetup.

Our dedicated volunteer team consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including a long-time English learner of Chinese and new migrants. If you’re interested in becoming part of our team, we’d love to have new volunteers join us! Please reach out to Hong or the host on event days. 😊
