New Lanark Dinosaur Weekend: Jurassic Lanark

Join us this summer at New Lanark for the exciting Jurassic Lanark event! 🦕 The brand new Explorer Trail launches on July 4, and we’re celebrating with a Dinosaur Weekend on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5.

🎉 Entry is FREE, making it a fantastic family day out! Begin at the Visitor Attraction reception to grab your trail map, and embark on an adventure to spot dinosaurs hidden around the site.

Expect loads of fun with activities like:
🦖 Dino Disco
🏞 Jurassic Duck Race along the mill lade
🎨 Craft Activities
🦕 Fossil Digging at the Robert Owen School

Dinosaurs will be on display throughout the summer from July 4 to August 9 as part of the Jurassic Lanark Explorer Trail.

🌍 Want to enhance your visit? Book a hands-on Animal Encounter:
🐾 Saturday - Pets Corner: A relaxed session perfect for younger children.
🐍 Sunday - Mini Zoo: Get up close with various animals, reptiles, and insects from across the globe!
🕒 Time: 2.30pm – 3.30pm
🎟 Cost: £12 per child. Spaces are limited, so make sure to book in advance!
