{North Hollywood} Square Dance with a LIVE BAND!

Join us for a fun-filled square dancing event in North Hollywood! 💃🕺

No experience? No problem! All dances will be taught, and fun is guaranteed!
No partner is necessary; this is social dancing, and everyone willing to participate is welcome!
Bring your friends — the more, the merrier!
This event is straight and LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Meeting Point:
We'll gather inside by the "The Mayflower Club" wall mural at 7 PM.

Schedule:

• 7:00 PM - Doors open + band + socializing
• 7:15 PM - Beginner lesson + socializing
• 7:30 PM - Dancing

Parking:
Free parking is available behind the club. Street parking on Victory Blvd should also be free after 7 PM, but please check posted signs.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable shoes
• Refillable water bottle
• Venmo receipt on your phone for the dance

Food & Drinks:
You may bring your own food and refillable water bottle.
No outside alcohol or bottled drinks allowed. A bar is available onsite.

Cost:

• $20 advance discount (until Aug 7th) via Venmo to @LASquares
• $25 on Aug 8th or at the door

Tips for the Ladies:

• Dresses are fun for twirling, but pants are cool too!
• Wear comfortable shoes that won’t easily slip off.
• Dress in layers, as you may get warm.
• Feel free to ask guys to dance!
• Ladies are always right, so ladies are always on the right when dancing (but anyone can dance any role).
