Nový svět uvádí: Večer s italským filmem – Amarcord Federica Felliniho
The Nový svět podcast invites you to a film evening featuring a screening of Federico Fellini’s famous film Amarcord. This poetic, nostalgic, and critical recollection of growing up in a small Italian town during the Fascist era is one of the most significant films in Italian and European cinema.
The evening will begin with a lecture by Martin Kovář on Italian cinema from 1945 to 1980, with references to the present day. This will be followed by a screening of Fellini’s Amarcord and, to conclude, a group discussion about the film and the themes it raises.
