About the event

✨ Join us for the opening of Thinking of You on the UN International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict! This outdoor event is FREE and does not require registration—everyone is invited!

On June 19, Thinking of You will launch outside the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo with a heartfelt ceremony. Meet the talented artist, Alketa Xhafa Mripa, who will share a few words before the Peace Dove flies over City Hall Square, delivering a powerful message of hope.

📅 Time: Join us at 11:30 to witness this impactful installation that stands in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence in war.

This installation honors the brave individuals affected by conflict-related sexual violence, originally created in response to the trauma faced by around 20,000 survivors after the war in Kosovo in 1998–1999. Thinking of You has previously been showcased in Strasbourg, The Hague, Pristina, and New York, and is now available for viewing in Oslo.
