ORk - King Crimson meet Porcupine Tree - support THE S P L I T

O.R.k, formed in 2015, is a collaboration of acclaimed minds including singer LEF, King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto, Carmelo Pipitone from Marta Sui Tubi on guitar, and bassist Colin Edwin (formerly of Porcupine Tree). They debuted with the impressive album Inflamed Rides and have since released two more well-received studio albums, solidifying their reputation with the latest release, Screamnasium, a highly anticipated follow-up to the acclaimed Ramagehead from 2019.

O.R.k continues to attract interest and support from creative artists and musicians. Their latest album features Italian vocal phenomenon Elisa and virtuoso cellist JoQuail. The previous album, Ramagehead, included the track "Black Blooms," a remarkable collaboration with System of a Down's Serj Tankian. The creative duo of Grammy-winning art director Adam Jones (from Tool) and Marvel/DC Comics illustrator Denis Rodier crafted the artwork for the last two albums, creating iconic covers with striking visuals, while mixing and mastering duties were handled by Machine (Lamb of God, King Crimson, Clutch).

Despite completing four albums since their inception, O.R.k is not just a self-indulgent studio project; the band has toured Europe and South America and will embark on a European tour in April and May 2023 to support the new album Screamnasium, with selected festival dates to follow. Screamnasium is likely their closest recording yet to capturing the spirit and spontaneity of O.R.k live, featuring a captivating blend of Lef's powerful vocals, Carmelo Pipitone's energetic riffing, Pat Mastelotto's inventive rhythmic accompaniment, and Colin Edwin's distinctive bass work, all intertwined with dazzling intensity.
