This captivating exhibition explores the journey of ornamentation from the elegance of Parisian art nouveau to the commonplace decorations often overlooked as mere excess. Through a rich array of installations, sculptures, and photography, it delves into the delicate balance between the decorative and the essential, weaving themes of nostalgia with contemporary culture.
Kajsa Frisk, born in 1999, is a versatile artist, designer, and curator residing in Stockholm. With academic backgrounds from Konstfack and ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris, her work spans across objects, photography, sculpture, and installations - all infused with the nuances of everyday realism and a whimsical approach to the ordinary.
