Pesto Making Class at Convivium Urban Farmstead

Join us for a hands-on class where you'll learn to make traditional pesto using fresh basil from Convivium's garden! 🌱

We'll explore various variations with different herbs and produce. In addition to making pesto, you'll prepare a quick meal to enjoy together, featuring your homemade pesto. You'll also take some pesto home along with several recipes and ideas for incorporating it into your cooking repertoire.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for check-in. We'll start promptly at 6:00 PM with a walk to the garden to harvest basil.

Instructor Leslie Shalabi, co-founder of Convivium Urban Farmstead, is dedicated to creating community around food. A lifelong lover of food and entertaining, she helps people connect through the universal languages of food and hospitality.
