Plein Air Art Festival

Welcome to the 2026 City Park Plein Air Art Festival! 🌳 Join us at Hagerstown City Park for a day filled with creativity and inspiration from nature. Artists are encouraged to bring their own supplies and create original works of art outdoors.

• Valley Art Association of the Mansion House Art Center
• Washington County Museum of Fine Arts
• Washington County Arts Council

Theme: "History is in Our Nature"

Registration Levels:

1. Basic Level - Free to paint at City Park! Includes signing the event waiver, being listed on the artist roster, and receiving updates about the event.
2. Exhibition Level - $10 registration to have your painting exhibited at either the Valley Art Association or Washington County Arts Council.
3. Juried Competition Level - $20 registration to participate in the Juried Competition hosted by WCMFA (more details to come).

When: Saturday, August 8, 10 AM - 4 PM

Register online or onsite during the event for free to participate as an artist! 🎉 Demonstrations and volunteers will be available throughout the park, with activities for children and those with disabilities.
