Poppycock, formed in 2012 by the talented Una Baines, is known for their unique ‘Cockypop’ sound, blending quirky lyrics with exceptional musicianship. They started as a collective, with their first performance held at the beautiful but worn-down Hippodrome theatre in Hulme. Una recalls, "The gig was actually the first time we had all played together. A baptism of fire!"
One of their fascinating tracks, Lizard Man, was inspired by a dream Una had involving The Fall and pays homage to the legendary Mark E Smith. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience this artistic journey!
