Prague Film Festival 2026

Prague Film Festival 2026 will present feature films in their Czech premiere – films that have not yet been screened in the Czech Republic.

The programme includes the Golden Globe–nominated film My Father and Qaddafi as well as several short films that premiered at Cannes (The Spectacle: Our Own Shadow) and Annecy (Ianna, The Magician). Music videos will also be featured, including a new work by the band Berlin Manson.

From 14 to 19 April, the iconic Kino Pilotů in Prague will become a meeting point for film professionals and film enthusiasts alike. The programme features a masterclass offering an in-depth analysis of The Godfather, the Anirama Pitching Forum, and a range of industry and networking events.

The festival will welcome notable representatives of the international festival circuit, including Isioro Jaboro (TINFF), Dominika Krop (ZOOM Zblizenia), Maximilian Breckwoldt (Berlin Animation Film Festival) and Joaquín Calderón (Navarra IFF).
The festival is open to both Czech and international audiences (all films are screened with English subtitles) and is accessible to viewers aged 15+. Prague Film Festival 2026 offers a platform for inspiration, professional exchange, and the discovery of contemporary world cinema.

Accreditation Information:

• Purchased accreditation can be presented to the festival team at Kino Pilotů from April 14 to 19 (Tue 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wed 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thu 3:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Fri-Sat 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., Sun 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
• Accreditation grants access to all festival events, subject to venue capacity.
• Participants are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before each screening. Late arrival may result in loss of seat availability.
