Proof-of-Control Salon: When the Agent Acts, Who Answers? Healthcare and Life Sciences
On June 26, following our UN Open Source Week side event at IBM, we're hosting a small, invitation-only dinner that brings the people building Verifiable AI together with the ones who will adopt it, with a focus on healthcare and life sciences.
We're focusing on healthcare and life sciences because the adoption gap there is stark. At one end, AI adoption has started to outpace governance. At the other, there's real reluctance to adopt AI at the infrastructure level. Agentic solutions are now arriving into that gap, forcing the industry to answer three questions: who the agent is, what it was authorized to do, and whether anyone can show what it did afterward. Identity, authorization, accountability.
In healthcare, these are not only governance questions. They can be the difference between life and death. That is what makes health and life sciences the place where the stakes are highest, and where evidence of what an AI did can be the difference between deploying and not. Complex data architecture, regulated and personal data, and legacy systems exposed to attack make it one of the most critical and highest-priority industries for applying verifiable AI.
The goal of the evening is the conversation between the people who need better agentic solutions and the people closest to building them.
We're inviting security leaders deploying agentic AI solutions that prioritize security and verifiability, the healthcare and life sciences leaders whose data and models demand it, and the insurers underwriting the risk.
You'll hear from the companies on the front lines of this work, with a report on the latest in open, vendor-neutral and interoperable design for enterprise solutions in health.
We'll share updates on two standard efforts that aim to make agentic AI in healthcare a possibility:
Proof-of-Control Cryptographic Verification Standard
