This August, Tasmania's finest export, extreme metal pioneers Psycroptic, join the US progressive death wizards Rivers of Nihil for a co-headline tour that showcases two elite bands at the forefront of modern death metal.

Psycroptic is riding high after relentless global touring with acts like Dying Fetus and Six Feet Under, and they are set to release their ninth studio album via Metal Blade Records. Their recent singles, Architecture of Extinction and Falling, highlight their status as Australia’s most respected technical metal export for over two decades.

Rivers of Nihil, also on Metal Blade, are bringing the momentum of their 2025 self-titled release, which has refined their sound while maintaining the expansive scope that fans love. With bassist Adam Biggs at the helm, the band is more potent than ever.

Joining them are Melbourne’s psychologically charged Growth, who are about to release part two of their anticipated album trilogy, Under The Under, and Sydney’s brutally uncompromising Slaughtercult, completing a lineup that promises precision, atmosphere, and sheer savagery.
