Queerchata Social: Bachata & Salsa Dancing in LA
Join Queerchata for a vibrant and inclusive evening of Latin dance every 3rd Saturday of the month at Precinct DTLA. The event begins at 4:00 PM with a beginner-friendly bachata class that welcomes dancers of all skill levels to lead, follow, or switch roles in a degendered and affirming dance environment.
Following the class, enjoy social dancing from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, featuring an energetic mix of bachata and salsa music. Queerchata is committed to creating a safe, joyful space where LGBTQ+ dancers and allies can connect, express themselves, and build community through dance.
Expect a warm welcome, supportive dance buddies to guide newcomers, and an atmosphere filled with music, movement, and queer joy. Tickets are $25, and the event is 21+. Please note that the venue has a steep staircase—those needing elevator access should contact dance@queerchata.com in advance for accommodations.
