🌟 Rivolti is a participatory installation that actively engages the audience. The work originates from the feeling of living in a state of paralysis in both thought and action, leading to passivity on political, social, and personal levels. Art, with its potential for political expression, can ignite liberation from this inertia.

👤 This experience is designed for one participant at a time, aiming to inspire an intimate revolt against one’s own passivity. It encourages movement from introspection towards engagement with the world around us, transforming passive individuals into active creators of events and gestures of rebellion.

🤔 Will we bridge the gap between our current world and the one we desire? The only way to find out is to take the first step.

MOMEC was founded in 2018 by Mario Previato, who has a background in Teatro del Lemming, alongside notable contributors Fiorella Tommasini and Antonia Bertagnon, who are prominent figures in Italian experimental theatre.

📣 THIS PERFORMANCE IS PART OF RADIX: τριάς BY IBODIES. RADIX serves as a studium for citizens, artists, and scholars to re-evaluate theatre as a radical practice. Here, 'radical' signifies an origin — derived from the Latin 'radix'. Theatre becomes the arena for performance.

🌐 This edition of RADIX explores the concept of triás: the trinity. Historically, three necessities for creation: passivity, activity, and neutrality appear across mythology, theology, philosophy, and art. We will explore the dynamic interplay between audience, actor, and space, challenging conventional notions of agency within performance.

🎭 A week-long event will feature performances, talks, and workshops led by artists and thinkers from around the globe. Many performances are reimagined specifically for this RADIX edition, creating a shared space for both the public and artists. Join us for public talks alongside the performances!
