
Read to the Beat interactive storytelling workshop (Corby Library)
About the event
Join artist Mike Payton for Read to the Beat, a fun and interactive storytelling workshop that blends performance with the creation of a story and musical beats! Participants will collaborate with Mike to craft a story, with opportunities for children to invent their own percussion and sound effects to tell the stories themselves.
Event Details:
- FREE for residents of the funded Corby area: Corby town, Cottingham, East Carlton, Great Oakley, Gretton, Little Stanion, Middleton, Oakley Vale, Priors Hall Park, Rockingham, Stanion, and Weldon.
- Sessions:
- 10am or 2pm: Up to 1 hour session recommended for children ages 3 - 7 years and their grown-ups.
- 11.30am or 3.30pm: Up to 1 hour session recommended for children ages 8+ and their grown-ups.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult; babes in arms are also welcome.
