Produced by Grammy-nominated Dom Monks (Big Thief, Laura Marling, Nick Cave), Black Feathers showcases a lineup of talented musicians including Ethan Johns, Neil Cowley, Nick Pini, Daisy Palmer, Sam Sweeney, and Rob Pemberton.

With a four-octave range that glides effortlessly between lower and upper registers, Sam Brookes delivers evocative lyrics and soaring melodies, securing his place in the alt-folk scene as an artist and collaborator. Initially inspired by the 60s folk revival, he began writing and performing at sixteen while training as a gilder in his late father's workshop. His self-released album Kairos gained critical acclaim, with The Independent hailing it as one of the standout records of 2014 and suggesting a Mercury nomination.
