Sean Gavin & Colm Gannon in Concert

Celtic Junction is excited to host Sean Gavin, a master uilleann piper and flute player, alongside Colm Gannon, an exceptional accordion player, for an enchanting evening of traditional Irish music.

The duo has recently completed their album, "The Boys of 25", which is highly praised and a must-have for every traditional music enthusiast.

Sean Gavin is celebrated as one of the top Irish musicians of his generation, being the first and only musician born outside Ireland to win the prestigious Seán Ó Riada Gold Medal. He has toured with acclaimed groups like Bua and Téada and served as the Musical Director for the PBS program “I Am Ireland”.

Colm Gannon, known for his vibrant and beautiful playing, hails from Boston with roots in Connemara. He learned music from his father and brother, and is recognized as one of the young masters of the tradition. Colm has also studied and lectured on the connections between American culture and Irish music.
