Seattle Trek - Lakewood Stairs

Join us for an exciting exploration of the Lakewood Stairs in Seattle! This event is priced at $12 per person, or included for Tenderfoot Adventures annual members. 🎟️

We'll kick off our journey at the Lakewood Community Center and venture northeast through Genesee Park, the historic site of Seattle's Seafair hydroplane races. The park captures the vibrant community spirit with its lush lawns and stunning lakeside views, a true celebration of Seattle’s summer essence.

Venturing uphill into the Lakewood neighborhood, you’ll encounter unique stairways that carve through homes, showcasing the city's steep terrain and creative spirit. 🌄 With each climb, you’re rewarded with breathtaking views of Lake Washington and the distant Cascades.

As we stroll through charming residential blocks adorned with mid-century homes, we’ll admire gardens bursting with vibrant summer blooms. You’ll see carefully tended flower beds and flourishing greenery, making this trek a living gallery of Seattle’s natural beauty. 🌺

Before we wrap up, we’ll stop at Empire Roasters and Records, a quirky café and vinyl shop. Enjoy coffee while we soak in Seattle’s eclectic culture, complete with great tunes from the past! ☕🎶
