Sewing for Charity Australia (SFCA) is a vibrant, volunteer-driven network dedicated to creating handmade items that provide comfort and support to people in need.

What we do:
We are a community of makers who believe in the power of connection through each stitch, crafting not just items, but hope and kindness across Australia! 🇦🇺❤️
Our team works with established charities and local groups, donating items directly to hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and other places in need. 🎁
By upcycling textiles and clothing, we’re also passionate about reducing waste and practicing sustainability.

Event Details:

• When: Join our monthly Saturday session at The Sewing Lair!
• Supplies: All materials are provided, including sewing machines.
• Who Can Join: No experience is necessary! We welcome everyone—if you're not crafty, feel free to come along for a cup of tea and help with tasks like turning, cutting, or ironing! ☕🪡
