Jes started singing in church at just three years old and won CNY Radio Group's ultimate idol contest in 2010. She has been the lead vocalist of Thistle Dew and a founding member of the Lightkeepers, who won the 2016 Brian Bourke Award for Best New Artist at the Syracuse Area Music Awards. Currently, she is involved with Transient Kicks and Jes Sheldon and the Stewards of Sol.
