Short Track Preview On the Rocks II

🏁 Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping event at On the Rocks II! Last year's Short Track Preview Race was a blast, and we can't wait to do it again! 🌟

This exciting race will take place in Roanoke, VA, as we gear up for the 2026 Endurance Mountain Bike XCC Championship Course. Join us on 10 oktober from 17:00 - 19:00 for a pre-ride through the Elmwood Park course before race day! 🚴‍♂️💨

A short track mountain bike race is the intense, sprint-like version of traditional racing, set on a compact loop of about 0.5 to 1 mile. Expect a thrilling mix of dirt, grass, small hills, tight corners, and technical features like rock gardens. 🏞️

Races typically last between 20 to 30 minutes, filled with heart-racing action where riders push their limits! Strategy is crucial as cyclists face off, managing energy while navigating the course. Can't wait to see who rises to the challenge!

🎶 Stay for great vibes, as DJ Flex spins live tunes, and enjoy delicious offerings from the Birriera La Vaca food truck! Refreshments will be available for purchase. 🍔🥤

This relaxed event is all about having fun while testing the course—though it will be timed, it’s not official or sanctioned. All are welcome to join the fun! Don’t forget to pre-register by April 29th for some extra kudos! On-site registration will open at 16:30 - 17:15 (but please consider pre-registering).
