Shut Up & Write!™ Munich - **Cafe Scheidplatz**

Join us for an hour (or two) of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. Munich-based but English speaking.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE (roughly):
🕙 10:00 to 10:15: Chat & (short) Introductions
🕙 10:15 to 11:15: Session 1 - Write for 1 hour.
🕙 11:15 to 11:30: Short Break
🕙 11:30 to 12:30: Session 2 - Write for 1 hour.
🕙 12:30: Finish

(Should you need to leave earlier, this is of course perfectly fine, please just make sure not to disturb the other participants.)

OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens during the break and after the second writing session. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
Please also note that during the writing sessions, we would ask that you remain quiet, so you don't disturb your fellow writers.

What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Also, there are no sockets to charge your device and we do not have any power banks available, so please make sure your devices are charged.

Other Important Details:
Please thank the Café by purchasing something. We do take up a table for quite some time and we want it to be to their benefit as well as ours.
Also, we will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination and you will be asked to leave if you disregard our commitment to respect, inclusivity, and safety for all.
