Shut Up & Write!® [Amsterdam / center]

Join us for an hour of focused writing! 🖊️ Writing alongside fellow writers can be incredibly beneficial. Experience this at the 7th floor of the Central Library Amsterdam on Monday evenings.

Whether you're working on a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or any other writing project, you're welcome to join us. No one will see your work or offer unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and make real progress!

Schedule:

• 7:15 PM - Quick introductions
• 7:30 PM - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
• 8:30 PM - The End: chat, leave, or continue writing

Optional Socializing 🤝

After writing, feel free to connect with other writers at 8:30 PM. Writing can be a solitary activity, and sharing experiences can be rewarding.

Late Arrivals Welcome! ⏰

If you're running late, no worries! Just arrive, settle in, and check in with the host (look for the Shut Up & Write! sign). If you arrive on time, please make space for latecomers.

What to Bring:

• Anything you need to write!
• Earbuds/earplugs if you want to block out the café's music or conversations.
• Ensure your devices are fully charged, as charging options may be limited.

Important Details:

• A library membership is required for Wi-Fi access.
• While you don't have to buy anything, bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed.
