Join us for an inspiring hour dedicated to writing! ✍️ Experience the power of writing alongside fellow writers at the serene 7th floor of the Central Library Amsterdam. Whether you're crafting a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or any other writing project, this space welcomes you to focus and create. No judgments, no unsolicited advice—just write!

Event Highlights:

• 10:30 AM: Quick introductions to meet your fellow writers.
• 10:45 AM: Timer starts! Dive into focused writing for 1 hour.
• 11:45 AM: Wrap up and chat, or continue writing at your own pace.

Optional Hour

Stay for an additional hour if you'd like! Feel free to join in the ongoing writing session.

Late Arrivals Welcome!

If you arrive late, it's absolutely fine! Just get settled and check in with me—I’ll have the Shut Up & Write! sign. And if you're prompt, please be kind to those arriving after you.

Connect and Share

After writing, we'll chat about our journeys and experiences as writers. If you're short on time, no problem at all!

What to Bring:

• Your writing tools! 🎧 Consider bringing earbuds or earplugs to block out background noise.
• Make sure your devices are fully charged, as charging stations may not always be available.

Important Notes:

• If it's your first visit to the library, please connect to the Wifi through the publicroam app (signs on tables will guide you).
• Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted, although purchasing refreshments at the cafe is okay.

We do not hold critiques or readings, as this is a safe environment for writers of all levels to work on their craft. No one will read or critique your writing here!
