Silverdale and Arnside Knott

Embark on a breathtaking circular trek through the stunning landscape of Silverdale and Arnside Knott! 🌅 This 10-mile (16 km) journey is of easy to moderate difficulty, winding through charming woodlands and featuring spectacular views of Morecambe Bay.

Highlights of the route include:

• Pepperpot, a unique monument commemorating Queen Victoria's jubilee 🕊️
• The Trig point at the summit of Arnside Knott 📍
• Quirky attractions in Silverdale 🏡
• Gorgeous coastal scenery 🌊

With total elevation of just 800ft (245m), this path is relatively flat, although there are short steeper segments for a bit of adventure (including a short limestone scramble that is easy to navigate) 🎢. Expect a mix of terrains such as woodland paths, grassy farmland, and some limestone areas which can be slippery when wet 🚶‍♂️🌦️.

To ensure an enjoyable experience, we're keeping it civilised with only one stile to cross! We'll start earlier than usual to avoid the crowds and anticipate taking about 4.5 to 5 hours for this delightful excursion, including a lovely lunch break amidst beautiful scenery and great company 🍽️.

🐕 Dog-Friendly: Well-behaved and friendly dogs (maximum 2 per person) are welcome, provided they enjoy the company of other dogs and people!

Your guides for the day will be Clare, a qualified Mountain Leader and Outdoor First Aider, ensuring your safety with full insurance coverage 💪.
