About Clipping.:
In the hands of clipping., rap transcends its traditional boundaries and becomes a canvas for audacious sonic experimentation! Their unique sound fuses brutal beats with rapid-fire, boundary-pushing lyricism.
Comprising William Hutson, Jonathan Snipes, and Daveed Diggs, this trio has captivated audiences since their self-produced debut album midcity in 2013. Five months post-debut, they signed with Sub Pop and released their first studio album CLPPNG in 2014. With two EPs, a fiery live album, several remixes, and four more studio LPs under their belt, their discography is nothing short of impressive! 🎶

Each member brings a rich artistic background:

• Snipes is known for composing film scores and was part of the electronic duo Captain Ahab.
• Hutson has ventured into experimental noise music with projects like Rale and Tattered Syntax.
• Diggs shines as a Tony and Grammy-winning actor, known for his dynamic performances in the musical Hamilton.
  Their latest offering, Dead Channel Sky, showcases a daring transition from horror-core to cyberpunk rave sounds, featuring guest appearances from Aesop Rock and Calgary's very own Cartel Madras. As Diggs aptly puts it, "It’s clipping., bitch!" 🔥
