Smokey Jack Observatory

Join ITT for an unforgettable evening of stargazing at the Smokey Jack Observatory in Westcliffe, Colorado, an International Dark Sky Community. 🌠

Knowledgeable volunteers will guide us through the night sky using the observatory’s state-of-the-art 14” telescope. Before heading to the observatory, guests will have time to explore Westcliffe’s Planet Walk or enjoy dinner on their own. 🍽️

• Admission: $45 per person (transportation)
• The observatory is volunteer-operated, and donations are encouraged.
• This program is weather-dependent and will be canceled in the event of poor or overcast conditions.
• Must have a valid DOD ID to register.
