🎶 Join us for a magical evening with Joe Hisaishi! 🎶
Experience the West Coast premiere of his Concerto for Orchestra, commissioned by the SF Symphony, along with additional contemporary works to be announced. Hisaishi, renowned for his delicate symphonic and solo compositions, has captivated audiences worldwide with his enchanting film scores, including music for 12 animated Studio Ghibli films, many of which are Oscar-winning works by Hayao Miyazaki.
As a prominent figure in contemporary music, Hisaishi has held esteemed positions such as Composer-in-Association with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Composer in Focus with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
This concert marks his return to the San Francisco Symphony after four sold-out performances in September 2024.

This event is part of our inaugural Arts from Japan Season, in collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony. We have secured a limited block of premium tickets for our members and friends to enjoy this concert together.
