Join us for an evening with L’Rain, the innovative musical project by multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and curator Taja Cheek. 🌟

Operating at the intersections of art, music, film, fashion, and cultural discourse, Cheek's work, in collaboration with Ben Chapoteau-Katz and Andrew Lappin, transcends disciplines, blurring traditional genre boundaries and deconstructing pop tropes.

Her 2021 album "Fatigue" received critical acclaim, including Album of the Year from The Wire. In May 2026, L’Rain recorded a live album and concert film at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Cheek was also the guest curator of the 2024 Whitney Biennial and is currently the artistic director of Performance Space New York.
