Join us for the sixth year of exhilarating Viking competitions in the historical city of Birka! 🌊

Get ready for an unforgettable experience with sweaty, hairy warriors and fierce female fighters in rustic Viking tents, as warrior roars echo across the landscape! 🏕️ This event has been a monumental success since its inception in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and we're thrilled to invade the island once more!

• 22nd July: Beginner (Women & Men) | 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM
• 23rd July: Valkyria (Women Only) | 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM
• 24th July: Experienced Amateur (Women & Men) | 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM
• 25th July: Open Class (Women & Men) | 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM
• 22nd - 25th July: Birka’s Fire Baptism Four-day competition! | 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM each day

💰 Registration Information:

To register, email your chosen competition and class, along with your full name and contact number, to info@starkeviking.se. Don’t forget to read the rules before registering!

Cost per competition: 250 SEK

🛡️ Classification Details:

• Beginner Class: No previous competition experience in major events allowed.
• Valkyria Class: Empowering women in strength sports; all skill levels welcome.
• Open Class: Join with any level of experience—be yourself and enjoy!
• Birka Fire Baptism: A true test of endurance and spirit over four thrilling days! 🔥

🏕️ Accommodation & Amenities:

• Tent accommodation available on-site—experience the thrill of staying on historic ground!
• Electricity will be available for charging devices during museum hours. ⚡
• We have a large refrigerator, and designated food coordinators will manage supplies. 🥡

🚤 Free Pickup:

Free motorboat pickup available at 10 AM from Adelsö Lindby Brygga. Please notify us by the Monday preceding the event.
