Still Blooming: A Community Flower Arranging Gathering
A community flower arranging gathering is exactly what it sounds like. Everyone brings their own vessel, flowers, and greenery to share. You tap into your creativity. You make something beautiful while talking, laughing, and getting to know the people next to you.
Even when the world is heavy, we can still find joy-- and flowers are a good place to start. Romi Hall of East Oak Bouquets will open with a short reflection to get us grounded, walk you through the basics of arranging, and then set you free to make your own. At the end, you'll write yourself something to carry forward.
No experience needed. This isn't about a perfect arrangement. It's about making one that is yours, being surrounded by community, and finding hope and joy in the beauty of flowers.
Bring a vessel (mason jar or vase) and a few bunches of flowers or greenery to share. Foraged (responsibly), Trader Joe's, the Oakland or SF flower market.
Free and open to all. Hosted by Romi Hall of East Oak Bouquets.
