Stockholm Blues Fest 2026: The Retreat
Welcome to the 15th Annual Stockholm Blues Fest! 🌟
Prepare for an unforgettable long weekend at the Swedish Swing Society's 15th edition of the Stockholm Blues Festival! This enchanting event promises a fantastic lineup of workshops with international blues instructors, lively late-night dance parties, and ample opportunities to connect with fellow blues enthusiasts—both on and off the dance floor! 💃🕺
Event Details:
- Location: Beautiful Tveta Friluftsgård and Tvetagården hostel, on the outskirts of Stockholm.
- Dates: 14 - 17 maj 2026
- Check-in starts at 13:00 on Thursday, with the first class kicking off around 15:00.
- The last camp activity concludes around 17:00 on Sunday, followed by an afterparty in the city at Odengatan 89.

Classes 🏫
Join for 8 hours of blues dance classes including bonus sessions, covering intermediate to advanced levels only (suitable for non-beginners). Each class offers a selection of lessons for you to choose from—tailor your experience as you like! Note that you will choose a dance role upon sign-up to help ensure a balanced dance floor at night.
Evening Blues Parties 🎉
- Dance and enjoy three exciting party nights at Tvetagården: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Prepare for an awesome Sunday evening afterparty in the city!
Pricing 💰
- Low income ticket: 2500 SEK (limited availability)
- Standard ticket: 3700 SEK
- Half patron: 4300 SEK
- Full patron: 4900 SEK
- Prices include all classes, parties, and meals! Members of the Swedish Swing Society get a 300 SEK discount.
- Participants are expected to assist with shared chores including setting up breakfast and cleaning. This collaboration ensures everyone can enjoy the fun!
Cancellation Policy ⚠️
- Full payment is required within two weeks of acceptance; otherwise, you risk losing your spot.
- Cancellations before 30 april will get a full refund minus a 200 SEK processing fee. Requests must go to kurser@swedishswing.se.
- After 30 april, refunds are not available, but tickets can be transferred to someone else with the same dance role.
Accommodation 🛌
- Hostel rooms accommodate 3 to 6 guests. An online spreadsheet will help participants organize their stay. Please bring your own bed sheets or rent them at an additional cost during registration. A separate shower/toilet facility will be available throughout the night.
Meals 🍽️
Enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal plan including:
- Dinner on Thursday
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday
- Breakfast and lunch on Sunday
Vegan options will also be provided!
