Světová cyklojízda 2026

The World Bike Ride will take place on the afternoon of May 31, followed by a supporting program featuring discussions, lectures, and bike workshops.

The ride starts at 2:00 PM from Bike Jesus on Štvanice Island; the finish and accompanying program will begin around 4:00 PM at the same location (the exact route will be announced).

After the group ride, refreshments and the accompanying program await visitors at Bike Jesus on Štvanice, including a discussion on transportation and public space with interesting guests (Vladimír 518, journalist Táňa Zabloudilová, Yvette Vašourková from CCEA MOBA, and transportation consultant Martin Marek). The event will be moderated by Pavel Šebesta and Karolína Faberová (Psycho podcast, Radio Wave). DJ Gadjo.cz will provide music for dancing and listening.

Given the heated debate in the public sphere, this year’s event is designed as an inclusive gathering for everyone who enjoys riding a bike at least occasionally and might want to ride more in the future. The organizers believe that a group ride on World Bicycle Day can open up space for discussion and mutual understanding.
