Tango dance classes with Felipe and Ayano at La Bruja, August

Join us for tango classes with Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda in Berkeley! 🌟

Felipe and Ayano teach fun, challenging classes that emphasize the underlying structure of tango. No experience is necessary for the beginner class. These classes are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people, encouraging everyone to lead and follow.

Class Schedule:

• Wednesdays: August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th
• 6:45 PM: Check-in
• 7:00-8:00 PM: Beginning Tango
• 8:00-8:30 PM: Practica (practice session)
• 8:30-9:30 PM: Intermediate Tango
• 9:30-10:30 PM: Practica

The practicas are included with the classes, so stay, dance, and ask questions! Beginners and intermediates practice together from 8:00-8:30. The intermediate class is geared towards those who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). Beginners are welcome to watch the intermediate class.

• Other dates: Ballroom (room reservation may change)

Admission Prices:

• $80 General Admission (all four classes, beginner or intermediate)
• $25 General Admission (single class, beginner or intermediate)
• $15 Student with ID (single class, beginner or intermediate)
• $40 Both classes in one evening (one person)

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance and go straight to the back courtyard. No parking in the Berkeley City Club lot. Street parking is free after 6:00 PM.
