Tango for you - An international dance meeting

Join us for a unique experience of Argentine Tango, where movement transcends words and fosters connection! This weekend invites you to engage in trust-based activities that emphasize listening and cooperation instead of performance and technique. 🌍✨

🚶‍♂️ Participants will explore simple movements, walking techniques, and partner exercises to connect with others in a warm and welcoming atmosphere — no prior dance experience necessary, and you don’t need to bring a partner!

🤝 Designed to create an intercultural gathering, this event brings together newcomers to Gothenburg, local residents, and tango enthusiasts. Discover tango not as a skill to be perfected, but as a medium for genuine interaction. Through guided exercises, learn how to cultivate trust step by step: Being present in your own body, listening before reacting, and responding with clarity and respect.

📅 Agenda:

• Session 1: Saturday, 11 April, 11:00 – 14:00 (Followed by a práctica — open to all tango dancers)
• Session 2: Sunday, 12 April, 13:00 – 16:00 (Followed by the Waffle Práctica at Connect With Joy, Varholmsgatan 12 — we will travel together)
