Tango for you - An international dance meeting

Join us for a unique exploration of Argentine Tango as a non-verbal language that fosters connection! 🌟 This event emphasizes trust, listening, and cooperation, rather than performance or technique.

Dive into simple movements, walking exercises, and partner activities designed to help you meet new people beyond just words. No dance experience is required, and you don’t need to bring a partner!

This event aims to create an intercultural gathering for newcomers in Gothenburg, local residents, and tango enthusiasts alike. Here, tango transcends just being a dance; it becomes a way of relating to one another. Through guided exercises, learn how trust can blossom step by step by being present in your body, listening attentively, and responding with clarity and respect.

Event Schedule:

• Session 1: Saturday, 11 April
  • Time: 11:00 - 14:00
  • Followed by a práctica (a social dance open to all tango dancers in Gothenburg)
• Session 2: Sunday, 12 April
  • Time: 13:00 - 16:00
  • Followed by the Waffle Práctica at Connect With Joy, Varholmsgatan 12 (we will travel there together)
