Join us for a creative journey as we explore how to capture the beauty of the natural world through minimalist line, ink, and color! 🌼✨ In this workshop, we'll:
- Use flowers and natural objects as our inspiration, guiding you through a series of exercises that range from close observation to personal expression and abstract drawing techniques.
- Learn to simplify forms, make bold marks, and apply color selectively to enhance your artwork.
- Focus on expressive and gestural drawing to capture the essence of your subject, emphasizing form and light over intricate detail.
We'll take our skills outdoors for a brief session on the PNA campus, where you can apply what you've learned and share your creations and insights with fellow participants. 🖌️🌳 Walk away with newfound confidence in drawing from life, both indoors and outside! No previous drawing experience is required.
Skills You’ll Gain:
- Structuring drawings from life using line and abstraction.
- Techniques for simplifying forms and compositions.
- Using selective color to enrich visual appeal and meaning.
