The Grounding Pause: Start the Weekend Slowly
What if…
…instead of rushing from a full week straight into a full weekend, we gave ourselves permission to pause?
To put the to-do list down.
To step outside.
To breathe.
To arrive—before doing anything else.
The Grounding Pause is a simple, one-hour gathering to slow down and ease into the weekend. We’ll meet in the park, sit on the grass, journal, read, or simply be in nature together.
- No agenda.
- No fixing.
- No pressure to share.
Just a quiet moment to come back to yourself.
For those who want them, a few simple prompts will be offered—nothing you have to follow, just something to lean on.
You’re welcome to write freely, bring a book, sit quietly, or let your mind wander.
What to bring
- A journal or book
- Picnic blanket or something comfortable to sit on
- Water / tea
This space is for you if…
- Your weeks feel full before they even begin
- You move from one thing to the next without a breath in between
- You want to start the weekend feeling grounded instead of depleted
Come as you are. Stay for an hour. Leave with a little more space.
