🎸 The Lords Of Altamont

The Lords of Altamont deliver raw rock and roll fury, born from a tumultuous history that started at the infamous Altamont Free concert on December 6th, 1969. What was billed to be the "Woodstock of the West", the concert was highlighted instead by heavy drugs, motorcycle chains and brass knuckles, later punctuated with shoving matches and fist fights. This palpable sense of bawdy foreboding resulted in four births, four deaths and extensive property damage.

While the Bay Area hippies embraced peace and love, The Lords were influenced by the high-energy rhythms of Detroit and the gritty clubs on LA's Sunset Strip. Mid-60s London R&B and the scruffy 70s NYC Bowery also share equal space among their influences. They draw inspiration from primitive riffs on cheap guitars across the USA in garages alongside chopped bikes and American V-8 muscle.

Formed in late 1999 by Jake Cavaliere, a veteran of the Southern California music scene, the band began with Johnny Devilla, Max Eidson, Doran Shelley, and Gabriel Hammond as 'The First Five'. High points include their first show at the legendary venue The Garage in Hollywood, and touring alongside The Cramps and The Who. The late Michael Davis of the MC5 was a past member. They have continued to release albums and captivate audiences with hard-driven performances worldwide.

Hailing from Stockholm, The Gonzoes play furious rock'n'roll, blending garage, punk, and boogie influences. Formed in 2023 by Brilje, Otto, Johan, and Abrahao, their sound is characterized by Lizzy-like riffs, high voltage and Motörhead harmonies—no boasting, no make-up and no backing tracks.
