The Peace Dove – Flying With Hope

Every Friday, a peace dove flies from the Nobel Peace Center across City Hall Square, carrying a message of hope.

The white dove is one of the world's foremost symbols of peace, and carrier pigeons have served as important messengers for centuries. Each Friday during the summer months, a dove takes flight from the windows of the Nobel Peace Center, accompanied by the city hall bells playing John Lennon's song "Give Peace a Chance."

Join us for a magical moment at noon every Friday outside the Nobel Peace Center! The message will be announced a few minutes before 12:00, just before we release the peace dove.
