The Peace Dove – Flying With Hope

Every Friday, a peace dove takes flight from the Nobel Peace Center, carrying a message of hope.

The white dove is a powerful symbol of peace, while carrier pigeons have served as important messengers for centuries. Each Friday during the summer months, the dove soars from the windows of the Nobel Peace Center, and as it glides over City Hall Square, the city hall bells play John Lennon's iconic song "Give Peace a Chance."

Join us for a magical moment at noon every Friday outside the Nobel Peace Center! The message will be announced a few minutes before 12:00, just before we release the peace dove.
