The Presidio-History, Architecture & Tunnel Tops Walk
Join us for an unforgettable walk through the historic Presidio! 🏞️
Don't risk losing your membership in the group—attendance is recorded, so be sure to show up!
As we trek through this beautiful location, we'll share fascinating stories about significant events in the Presidio's rich history. Did you know that during the Spanish-American War in 1899, young American recruits camped here, training before heading overseas? The energy was anything but quiet!
Plan to refuel towards the end of our hike—there are delightful dining options nearby. Colibri, a fantastic Mexican restaurant in the Officers Club, is a recommended stop! Other spots can be found along Chestnut St., offering a mix of traditional and modern cuisine. 🍽️
If you're interested in dining at Colibri, please let us know in advance so we can secure a reservation.
Check out this excellent Google map of our route!
