The REAL Men's Walk
Join us for the REAL Men’s Walk — a unique experience designed to foster men's mental health through nature! 🌲
This inaugural event, hosted by the Compassionate Transformation Community (CTC), invites men of all ages to come together in the serene beauty of the Angeles National Forest. This is not about therapy or lectures; it’s about genuine connections and grounding yourself in nature's therapeutic embrace.
What to Expect:
- A guided hike to Sturtevant Falls (3.3 miles round trip with ~600 feet of elevation gain)
- Light prompts for reflection (completely optional)
- Space for authentic conversations without any judgment
- Moments of quiet reflection to reconnect with yourself
- A closing circle to leave you feeling resourced and connected
This Walk Is For You If:
- You seek stress relief without stigma
- You want honest conversations without the pressure to 'perform'
- You desire community among other men who understand the journey
- You are ready to embrace movement that supports mental well-being
Whether you want to share your story or simply enjoy the silence among fellow men, you belong here.
Research Component (Optional):
Help us shape future nature-therapy programs by participating in optional, confidential questionnaires about stress and well-being. Your honesty is valued; there's no pressure to report improvement — just genuine experiences matter.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- At least 1 liter of water
- Snacks (if desired)
- Sun protection and clothing layers
- An open heart and mind
