The Rest is Noise: Ex-Easter Island Head
Ex-Easter Island Head is a British collective of composers and musicians that breathes new life into the electric guitar. Using prepared guitars, unconventional playing techniques, and self-imposed limitations, the quartet creates a sound in which minimal means lead to maximum intensity: tight, warm, and surprisingly emotional. The Guardian described their music as ‘one of the boldest experiments in British music’. Their latest album, Norther (2024), was named Album of the Year by The Quietus.
