Join us for an invigorating Shim Sham workshop hosted by the members of the Swedish Swing Society! 🎶 As the Bill Elliot Swing Orchestra sings, "I gotta learn shim sham," we invite you to dive into this iconic dance.

What is Shim Sham?
Originating from the minds of Leonard Reed and Willie Bryant in the 1920s, the Shim Sham is a celebrated dance routine recognized on social dance floors worldwide. While many versions exist, this workshop focuses on the rendition popularized by legends Frankie Manning and Erin Stevens—watch it here: Shim Sham Performance.

The workshop will be led in English by the talented duo, Vaida Razaityte and Evi Gogoulou.
